The Comcast Scholarships known as Comcast Leaders and Achievers Program are offered to more than 2,000 high school seniors students every year. The scholarship award is of $1000 and to get this award one must be nominated by their principals. It is a merit based scholarship and students are required to have a GPA of 2.8 or higher on 4.0 scale. These scholarships are only for the students who are attending senior high school in full term and posses leadership qualities displayed in school activities or even in work. The nomination for this grant is sent by the principal of the school or guidance counselor.
