Details: High school seniors who are residents of Delaware County and are graduating in June may apply for a $500 grant by contacting their senior class advisor for an application. Students out of high school for at least five years who reside in Delaware County and have been accepted for the fall semester at an accredited nursing school are eligible for a $500 grant.

Details: The Ruth Shaw Junior Board Scholarship is available to currently enrolled nursing and allied health students. You must be a resident of Delaware, be pursuing an accredited degree in nursing, pharmacy, radiologic technology, medical technology, or respiratory therapy and demonstrate academic achievement and a proven commitment to quality patient care to be considered for this award. Masters degree programs or RN to BSN are not eligible for this award. Two letters of recommendation and a statement of your professional goals and aspirations are also required. Recipients of this award must commit to a minimum of one year of employment with Christiana Care.

Details: The Dr. Albert G. Tini Memorial Scholarship is available to returning students at Delaware Tech Community College, Stanton/Wilmington Campus. You must be majoring in nursing to be eligible for this award.
