Scholarship Presenter: Camden-Clark Nursing Alumnae

Funds to be given: $1,500

Details: Have written documentation of acceptance to a Registered Nurse program accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN). Live in the area served by Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, which includes 11 counties in West Virginia and Ohio;Be currently enrolled or have completed one year as a nursing student. The scholarship must be used within the next academic year. Also available will be two $750 nursing scholarships for Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital employees for continuing education in nursing. The winners of the scholarships will be awarded during the Annual Nursing Alumnae Luncheon on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Leo D. Carsner Auditorium.

HERC Foundation Academic Scholarship

Scholarship Presenter: ProMedica Health System and the Health, Education and Research Corporation (HERC)

Details: Area high school seniors and college students pursuing a career in a health care-related field can apply. Securing a commitment from the scholarship recipient that they intend to return to ProMedica’s 27-county service region after completion of medical training and practice medicine in this area.
