To be eligible for the Verizon Wireless Scholarship, which is offered by Verizon in support of Black History Month, one has to write an essay about how the evolution of wireless technology is changing. The scholarship amount ranging from $2,500- $5,000 is granted by the Verizon to assist you in paying your college tuition fees. The qualified high school seniors having a minimum GPA of 2.0 must be residents of one of 25 participating states of USA. The student who is selected for the scholarship can also expect to get a new laptop, cell phone and Verizon gift cards. The amount will be awarded to 5 of the deserving students after analyzing all the essays.
