Scholarships for Radiology Nursing
Radiology is a fascinating field to get into, but for obvious reasons, has an expensive education. Thankfully there are many scholarships available to help radiological students out there. If you are a student member of American Association of Radiologic Technicians, you can apply for scholarships from your first term of school through your last.
- The Howard S. Stern Scholarship is available in non-renewable increments of $1,000 for both grads and undergrads in a radiological technology program. Students must fill out an application with an essay and letters of recommendation plus be able to prove they are members of AART by Feb. 1st of every year. You do not need to be a U.S. citizen to apply. Must also have at least one year experience in radiology or related field and verified on letter head.
- Jerman-Cahoon Student Scholarships are offered to beginning radiology students. Scholarship awards annually are up to $2500, and the same application process applies because it’s offered by AART.
- If you’re a minority student, AART also has a bonus scholarship for you. The Royce Osborn Student Minority Scholarship grants five scholarships of $4,000 each annually to minority students who show promise in this field and who show academic excellence across the board.
